With Stockton less than two hours from Tuolumne County, it is within reason for our local artists to keep an eye on some of the city’s art opportunities. One of Stockton’s solid art resources is located on the Delta College campus:
The LH Horton Jr Gallery is a non-profit art gallery located on the campus of San Joaquin Delta College in Stockton, California. The Gallery provides excellent exhibition opportunities, with over 2000 square feet of exhibition space, an extended 22 ft. ceiling with mounts, and over 1200 visitors to each exhibition.
In the next few months The LH Horton Jr. Gallery will hosts three major art competitive exhibitions. Many of our local artists may want to consider entering their works:
