In the two fascinating years that follow, Rothko faces the agonizing possibility that his crowning achievement could also become his undoing. emotionally raw and provocative, Red is a searing portrait of an artist’s ambition and vulnerability as he tries to create a definitive work for an extraordinary setting.
The play, by John Logan, is directed by Don Bilotti. Music by Robert Leibold on Jazz clarinet. In addition, there will be a lobby exhibition of “works in red” by Robert Carabas. http://robert.carabas.org/index.html
